Okay, after a hectic two months..son's marriage, the beginning of school and toss in just plain chaos this blog has been lost in the Twilight Zone.


Not that work hasn't been going on behind the scenes.A set of dining room chairs went to their home all spiffed up as well as a few other projects. I will be posting pics on the latest lovelies. I am hard at work on a oriental style settee that is going to be in a home that will be on the Snohomish Parlor Tour. The Parlor Tour is being held this year on Dec. 13th, 2009. I hear the owner a has vision of grays, silvers, blue and mercury glass...cool and icy. Can't wait to see it in place!

Hot Blogust Nights~ August 10, 2009

Being a beginning blogger I decided to go to Hot Blogust Nights held in our own sweet little town of Snohomish. A night dedicated to bring out bloggers and blog readers. The shops hosting this event treated us like royalty. Food, wine and prizes flowed like manna from heaven.

I was one of the lucky winners of a door prize. My prize was kindly donated by Debi Burton of Ormolulu. It was a darling little boy statue. This treasure made my night! Thank you so much, Debi!

This will be my first post as I try to get my blog set up. I am excited to show you the work I've done. I have an affair with each piece of furniture I work on. I talk to it and it talks to me. Together we create something that the piece wears like a proud new suit. These darling little chairs are on display at Annie's in Snohomish!
